SHOP UPDATE: This weekends progress in the shop

So I spent a couple hours putting some temporary axles under the Dodge 3 window. Now I really have an idea  how cool this car will be as a hot rod. This makes me even more determined to save this car. It will live again.

Joe thought he might want a hood on the chopped 37. I set one of my hood tops on it. Don't care for that at all. It would be a shame to cover up that shiny Flathead.

While the truck is here, we decided to remove the chin pan and finish the paint and patina. Should have it done in a couple of days.

Susi and I finished forming the trans tunnel today. Then we removed everything and bead rolled and welded in the floor.

Here is the finished floor and tunnel, turned out great.

This is the truck when we shut down for the night. The frame goes for sand blasting Tues morning. We will spend our turkey holiday boxing and welding. Hope to paint it next week and start assembling it. This was a huge turning point for Susi's hot rod.
