This is Susi's rusty truck. It was missing the rocker panel and the entire rear corner of the truck.
I am trimming away the rusty panels and preparing them for the replacement parts.
Here is the lower door post. I used a donor part from another old cab.
This is the new reproduction rocker panel being test fit.
Here is the new rocker installed and the cab corner from the donor cab
DJ is welding in the inner fish plates where I Z'd the rear of the frame
Susi decided to put in a little welding time with DJ. They did a nice job.
We made some templates out of cardboard for the boxing plates.
Here are the boxing plates all tacked in and ready to weld. Unfortunately the welder is down until about Monday so I will have to work on something else for the weekend.
