SHOP UPDATE: Joe's chopped 37 pickup gets some new bling!

Joe's pickup slipped in the shop last night for some new bling. They finished the new custom built 4 core aluminum radiator a few days ago. So it was time to bring it in and install the new beautiful chrome 34 Ford grill. This grill really changed the front of the truck. It is outstanding! Next is a fabricated steel chin pan and a roll pan for the rear of the bed. Even when they are done there is still stuff to do.

SHOP UPDATE: Cuttin on John's 41 Ford

I am trying to salvage this pickup fender. Someone had done some ugly repair on this fender in the past. I am trying to salvage it. I found a donor fender. I am replacing  the opening for the headlight because someone ground the metal so thin to do the body work you can see through it. It was also damaged in the front where it connects to the grill. I will be patching the area where it mounts to the running board as well. Stay tuned.

SHOP UPDATE: Here are a couple cars from Viva I really like

This purple Crown Vic was so cool.

The look of this 36 5 window coupe just kills me. For some reason it just really clicked inside me. I will definitely build something similar with one of my coupes.

SHOP UPDATE: CAR HAS BEEN SOLD....1929-31 Willys Overland Whippet Six 3 window coupe

THIS ONE HAS BEEN SOLD, Whippet Six 3 window coupe. Body is pretty straight. It has a few bullet holes and a blast from a shotgun as seen in photos. Small amount of rust on the drivers side. wheel wells are rust free.  It has a 47 ford open drive banjo rear axle temporarily attached, I was trying to make it mobile. I have an extra cowl and 2 different tops that go with it. One of the tops is a late twenties Chevy 3 window coupe. The other is about a 30 Pontiac roof with an oval rear window. It also has 1 rear fender that has the end bobbed off. No title, but has a clear VIN on the engine block. $1500.00 will take it home. Contact me if interested at reelrodsinc@yahoo.com

SHOP UPDATE: Had a very cool delivery today!

I had a delivery from Art Morrison Engineering today. This is the new chassis for Joe's 1950 Ford convertible. This thing is a work of art. I ordered some tires and wheels today. I will spend a few evenings and get the brakes and rear axle assembled so it can be moved around. I will start the build on this next fall. This one should be a real blast!
