SHOP UPDATE: The bottom is finished and ready for paint.!!

Today I finished the bottom side of Joe's cab. Tomorrow I should get the interior body work finished and get it in prime. I am hoping to paint if the cold weather allows it. I think it turned out fantastic, especially for the underside of the truck. Time is running out quickly. Thanks for looking.

SHOP UPDATE: One more day of fab and the "Meat wagon" is ready for body and paint.

I finished a little rust repair and tied up an area I wasn't really happy with. I didn't like the way the rear corners looked unfinished so I made a filler panel. I bead rolled it to match the others and welded it in. Much better. I have to do the other side tomorrow and then I can start the little bit of body work and get some primer on the interior and get ready to paint. Time is flying by. Thanks for looking.

SHOP UPDATE: The floor is finished in the 37 Pickup.

I finished the trans tunnel and floor today in the 37 pickup. Tomorrow will be the floor for the bed and hopefully move the cab back to the other shop for body and paint. I still need to fit the gauges and switches in the dash and the fabrication is done. Stay tuned.

I am really close to wrapping up the floor work on the 37 Pickup. I have a couple more small panels to fabricate and then bead roll the panels and its ready for body and paint. I should finish up tomorrow and move on to the bed floor. Things are moving forward everyday. Thanks for looking

SHOP UPDATE: A square peg does fit in a round hole!

The new X member is in. The engine and trans fit pretty good now. All the clearance issues are gone and I can proceed. I should get the trans mounting plate done today and move to the motor mounts when the material arrives. I will keep posting progress as usual. Thanks for watching

SHOP UPDATE: Working on John's 41 Pickup

I switched projects today and worked on John's 41 Ford. I removed the stock X member and slightly modified the new parts to fit the way i wanted them. I will spend tomorrow on this one and hope to be mounting the engine by the end of the day.

SHOP UPDATE: Getting a little closer everyday.

I finally received all the parts to assemble the front brakes. These brakes are awesome, four piston disc brakes hidden inside polished aluminum drums. Old school look with the best technology inside.

I mounted the column and connected the steering box. Clean and simple.

Tonight, I built the framing for the bed. I will skin it with steel and then attach the bed panels.
I also built the mounts for the air ride and the battery.

SHOP UPDATE: Doing a little bead rolling on the 37 Ford Pickup

I am slowly getting the new floor pan in the 37 pickup. Once I figured out my plan, things are starting to flow. I am waiting on the shifter for the transmission, as soon as it arrives I can finish the tunnel over the trans and remove the cab for final welding and interior paint. I can't wait!!
