SHOP UPDATE: John's 31 delivery

Well, the end of this years fishing season is approaching rapidly. With that being said, we decided to get a day in on one of this winters main projects. The 31 delivery. Susi and I spent the day sorting out the roof wood puzzle so we can continue adding the steel support to the body. Instructions would be nice sometimes.

SHOP UPDATE: Dwayne's 49 Ford F-1

There is Susi taking Dwayne's 49 pickup apart.

This is the bed being worked over

Here it is in final prime just before paint. Susi's body work looks fantastic

 The pictures speak for themselves

I had to fix a little rust in the drivers cab corner

I fabricated a nice little patch for it

There it is welded in and ready for body work

Here is the cab all skimmed and blocked out
Here is Susi blocking the final guide coat to make sure it is straight and ready to paint

Here it is straight from the booth, looks great. The color is awesome.

 After cut and buff

A little guide coat on the hood. " the straightest part of the truck" oh well!
The finished product, turned out great. You'd never know it was the same hood.

I just want to say what a great job my wife is doing on this truck. It just gets better every time.!

FOR SALE: 1932 Ford five window coupe

This is the car we started with

Here it being built in 1975

Nearing the finish line in 1975

New floor pan installed along with the A and B piller feet and rear trunk supports

 New frame rails and crossmember

1932 Ford five window coupe. All steel. This was a channeled car from the 70s. I put a new United Pacific floor pan and panel under the deck lid in it. I replaced the A and B pillar feet and the rear trunk supports. The floor is installed just like the original. The cowl vent was filled, the original lid is tacked in place. It will be very easy to remove and have a working cowl vent. It had a steel roof insert at one time that has been removed. The tack strip is intact but will need some cleaning up. It has a reproduction 25 louver hood, grill shell with original insert and rear frame covers. All other parts are genuine Henry steel. All parts have been media blasted and primed. NO SURPRISES HERE! No filler or glass! It has some old lead repairs from back in the day. I have pictures of every part in bare steel so you will not find any surprises. It also has a new SS dropped head light bar and new Halogen headlights.
The body has a few pinholes in the corners of the doors and rear quarter panels. I tacked some new rear wheel well panels in place. The drivers front fender has rust, it could be fixed with a doner fender.
The chassis consists of new ASC rails and front crossmember and SS front and rear spreader bars.. It is not boxed and does not have an X member. It is a basic perimeter frame. It has a nine inch rear with SS triangulated four link and disc brakes. The front is a 4 inch dropped tube axle with SS four link and disc brakes. All brackets are tacked in place for easy removal if you choose to go a different route. I drilled minimal holes through the frame in case you choose to fender less.
This is probably the cleanest original body available right now. We have tried to make this the best/easiest start to a 32 project we can. Contact me if interested. I can email photos of anything you might want to see. asking $30,000 OBO
Forgot to mention.. I have a title and all interior garnish moldings. Tires and wheels are not included.
