SHOP UPDATE: More progress on John's 41 Ford

Susi finished the Dynamat inside the cab.
The rear fenders are painted and ready to install after I Schutz the inside.
The bed strips and end cap are sanded and ready for paint.
Jason did a great job on the wood for the bed. This should really look great with the red paint.

I spent the whole day working on the front fenders. Finally in final primer. They are ready to wet sand and paint.

SHOP UPDATE: Tonight's progress

Tonight I installed John's B&M deep transmission pan and filter adapter.
I plumbed the new transmission cooler.
I drained the rear end and installed the chrome differential cover. I will fill it Monday when I can get the oil.
Installed the new oil fill tube and breather.
Installed the custom PCV adaptor. I will finish connecting it when the rest of the parts arrive.
I installed the fuel pump, coil and figured out the lower radiator hose. I ordered some aluminum tubing to bridge the gap.
Susi almost finished the Dynamat. I will get to start the wiring tomorrow.

SHOP UPDATE: A little late night project

 BEFORE

AFTER

You all remember the Dodge we painted this winter? Garrett has been waiting for the local Rhino Lining guy to spray the truck since it was painted. We finally decided I should give it a try and get it sprayed so he can put the truck together and drive it. So here is the before and after shots. I think it looks great. Sunday evening I will shoot the outside and we are done.

SHOP UPDATE: The latest shop happenings

 Installed the freshly painted bed
 Painted the rear fenders
Susi installed some of the Dynamat
I installed the AC unit and mounted the fuse block so I can start wiring the truck
I mounted the new transmission cooler
I mounted the drop down battery box under the bed, just wanted to keep things clean. Plus, we need all the weight we can get back here for traction purposes.

SHOP UPDATE: More progress on John's 41 Ford

Sue and I finally assembled my rotisserie.

We used it to hold the 41 bed so I could paint all sides and angles in one shot. Worked perfectly.
We bled the brakes first thing this morning and installed the bed. I dropped off the wood at Jason's this afternoon. He will finish the oak so I can get it installed.
 The Dynamat queen at work

 Looks good and sounds better

Tonight's newly painted rear fenders. I will body schutz the interior in a couple of days and then install them.
