SHOP UPDATE: More goodies for John's 41 Ford pickup

Well, I finished welding up some factory seems to clean up the look of the firewall. I also finished the rust repair under the cab. I set the cab back on the chassis with the new wood body blocks.
The new Vintage Air system arrived, it is heat, defrost and AC. Now its time to install and mock up the system, mount the unit and all of the vents. Tomorrow I will re-install the front sheet metal. Then install all the AC components under hood. Then I need to figure out where to put the battery??? It doesn't fit under the hood anymore with the Big Block engine.

SHOP UPDATE: I'm gonna miss this one!

Well, I guess everything does have a price. I sold my chopped 35 project the other day. Both Sue and I are having sellers remorse. This one will surely be missed. I just need to keep reminding myself, I can build another.

SHOP UPDATE: Working on the cab corners of John's 41 Ford

I am working on the last of the metal work on John's 41 Ford pickup. I cut out the rusty corner and installed the new cab corner today. I still have some inner structure to repair when I remove the cab for sand blasting. Tomorrow i will move to the drivers side. Hope to break the truck down sometime next week and send out for blasting.

SHOP UPDATE: PEOPLE !!! DO NOT SIT ON THE HOODS OF CARS !!!

Here is my wife Sue sanding on the hood for the Dodge. Nothing to serious but small waves throughout the entire surface. To much sitting on the hood. This is the last piece to finish and it is done. The truck went home today for detailing.

SHOP UPDATE: Just about wrapped this one up

Well, sue and I  have just about wrapped this one up. I finished painting the doors and fenders. We installed the doors and dash last night and the fenders this morning. We started the body work on the hood. I hope to shoot the hood sometime this week and this project is finished. The owner will take it home to detail the engine compartment, paint the frame and Rhino line the bottom of the doors  and fenders.
