Fabricating some custom " lake style " headers for the Y block.
All finished with the fabrication on the headers. The extra work on the angles was so worth it.
Here are the finished headers after paint and install. wasn'rt sure about the black until they were installed. I like them.
We also installed dump pipes so we can connect to a full exhaust system with turbos for those days we don't want to wake up the town.
Here is a shot of the engine all assembled. We will need to clean up those spark plug wires. I will find a set that I can cut and attach the ends so we can tailor them to the engine.
These are real deal Moon valve covers from back in the day. They are in pretty good shape over-all, they just needed some polishing.

She almost finished it before running out of Dynamat. A little more on the ceiling and it is finished
Steering column in in and all steering is connected. The shifter and e brake installed and hooked up.
Adding fuel and testing the fuel gauge before finishing the bed floor.
Susi's bed floor and the battery box we made the other night, Still need to make the lid for the box. This is some barnwood we scored here locally. Had to age a few bolts and stuff to make it look just right.
