We have had some very cold temps here lately. good thing we have so much work to keep us moving around and staying warm.
We got the fuel tank loaded with all the goods. Now to finish plumbing it.
We installed all the switches and gauges in Susi's cab.
Susi is getting it done with that die grinder. She is learning more everyday in the shop.
This is the start of a small repair that took half the night. I cut the missing pieces of Susi's cab from this donor cowl.
I cut out the damage on Susi's cowl which turned out to be far worse than expected. We made a new inner panel and attached the 2 tabs for the door check strap from the donor cowl and welded it in.
Here is the outer skin welded in the door jam
Here is the end result after grinding and finishing. This little fix took three times as long to do as expected
We shortened the rear cab braces and re-installed them
We also re-installed the headliner brace in the roof so we can add the dome light.
Susi is knocking out more body work on Jim's 36 Ford pickup. She is doing a great job.
