So, we did a final fitting of Jim's hood. Had some slight modifying to get the gaps right.
Most of these parts are finished in last coat of primer before wet sand and paint.
We got Susi's fresh rebuilt C4 trans back from the rebuilder. Its ready to be installed on the engine and set in the chassis.
Tomorrow is final assembly of the engine and get it painted. Hope to install it Sunday so we can get the cab back on.
Here is the cab masked and ready for color. This has been a long time coming for this truck.
Base coat is down, waiting for flash time so I can clear it
3 coats of clear and it is beautiful. I always get jacked just before I shoot the clear. I love the way the metallic starts to pop when the clear lays down on base coat.
