Montana DMV finally came through with a VIN tag so Todd was able to come get his truck. Now if we can get a title, we can get this deal finished up.
I had a last minute idea, I added a hood prop for convenience.
Of course we had to have a last minute disaster. I took it for a quick ride in town. As I was backing it in the shop it backfired and died. It wouldn't start again. After a bunch of troubleshooting I figured out it sheared the pin that holds the distributor gear off. Luckily I had another distributor laying around I could rob the pin from. So about midnight I finally get it all back together and get it fired up so Todd can come get it in the morning.
