My 35 Truck project
Well, I have the front end mocked up. the stretch worked out just right. I will probably relocate the rear wishbone mounts in the future. If I mount them on the inside of the frame it will tuck the wishbone in a little further and give some tire clearance for turning radius. After finishing the front end I removed the rear end. Then I pie cut the frame folded it up until the rear of the frame rail is level with the rest of the chassis. You can see in the photos, the original frame sloped downward in the rear. Now it is much higher and goes straight back level with the ground. This gives me more clearance between the axle and the frame so I can get the truck low like I want. Once I get the rear end mounted in the truck I will start the chop and channel. Stay tuned
The last 2 photos show the difference in the location of the front axle from stock to the new location.
