Started a new project of my own 1935 Ford Pickup

I started with an early 1935 Ford cab and frame. I wanted to move the front axle forward about 10 inches. I have always thought the front axle was to close to the firewall when in the stock position. The frame is to short to move the axle forward. I had and extra 40 frame that I have been using for parts. I cut the front frame horns off the 35 frame. Then I cut the front of the 40 frame off and welded it the the 35 frame stretching it 10 inches longer than stock. I then pinched it a couple of inches and added a dropped 32 Ford front crossmember. I plated and gusseted the inside of the frame for strength, then boxed the length of the rail for added strength. Stayed tuned, I should have the front end finished in the morning and start on the Z of the rear frame. Should be a roller in a couple of days.
