This is a 1934 Ford 5 window coupe. I have been building this for the last few years. It's been on the road for a couple of years now. I went with my dad in 1976 on a little road trip through the backroads of Wyoming to try to find a 34 Ford coupe. We spent a couple of weeks driving around, looking at every rusty car in every field and behind every barn. We talked to hundreds of people that sent us to other people that eventually ssent us the lot that had our coupe resting in the weeds waiting for us. We ended up buying 2 cars to get enough decent parts to cut up and weld together 1 usable body. after 20 years of swap meets and wild goose chases we ended up with most of the parts to put it together. My dad worked pretty hard on it for several years. The work started to slow and eventually stopped. The coupe sat in the back of the garage slowly dissapearing behind boxes and stuff that seem to accumlilate in peoples garages. Many years later my dad called me, he wanted to know if I knew anybody that would want to buy the coupe. He didn't think he would ever be able to finish it. I decide that my father should get the chance to drive his dream hot rod so we became partners in the coupe and I packed it up and brought it to Montana to be put together. the car has been running now for a couple of years. I have a little more work I would like to do to it this winter before I take it down to Utah and give it to my dad. Hopefully he has many years of happy driving in coupe . It is a great car and a whole lot of fun to drive.
