SHOP UPDATE: John's 31 delivery

Well, the end of this years fishing season is approaching rapidly. With that being said, we decided to get a day in on one of this winters main projects. The 31 delivery. Susi and I spent the day sorting out the roof wood puzzle so we can continue adding the steel support to the body. Instructions would be nice sometimes.

SHOP UPDATE: Dwayne's 49 Ford F-1

 There is Susi taking Dwayne's 49 pickup apart.

 Here it is in final prime just before paint. Susi's body work looks fantastic

 I had to fix a little rust in the drivers cab corner

 I fabricated a nice little patch for it

 There it is welded in and ready for body work

 Here is the cab all skimmed and blocked out

 Here is Susi blocking the final guide coat to make sure it is straight and ready to paint

 Here it is straight from the booth, looks great. The color is awesome.

 After cut and buff

 A little guide coat on the hood. " the straightest part of the truck" oh well!

The finished product, turned out great. You'd never know it was the same hood.

I just want to say what a great job my wife is doing on this truck. It just gets better every time.!
