SHOP UPDATE: We have made major progress on the 32 roadster.
Well, the roadster is finally assembled except for the hood. I am waiting on a couple new Stromberg carbs, once they arrive I will install them and put the hood on it. We took the roadster for its first drive around town today. So far so good. I have a couple minor bugs to work out but it should be a great ride. Goes in for exhaust tomorrow. and upholstery in another week and t is finished.

First fishing day for 2018
What can I say Susi and I had stellar day on the river. Nymphing was exceptional and the dry fly fishing wasn't so bad either. What a way to start the season

SHOP UPDATE: We are tying up some loose ends on Susi's truck
Susi's truck goes in for upholstery in early May. We decided we better get a few things finished up before it goes in
This is the glove box we built to hold her Kenwood CD player. We really didn't want it out in plain view so we hid it in the glove box.

I did a test fit after welding and primer just to make sure.
After paint
I lined it with Dynaliner so things don't slide around and rattle so much
Finished product, added a 12V socket for whatever

SHOP UPDATE: Bill's roadster is getting really close
Susi and I hung the doors and installed the running boards
Susi finished all the Dynaliner
We installed the Glide seat frame
I mounted the Moon remote oil filter on the firewall
The chrome radiator hoses came in and I got them installed
I decided to mount the coil next the the HEI distributor using these 2 threaded holes in the head
I fabricated a bracket from 1/8" aluminum plate. I bent and polished it
There is the polished finned coil installed. Susi made sure I mounted it so all the fins run in the same direction. That girl has a good eye for the details
Our intake manifold made it back from polishing. Looks great, great job by Andy Tants!
Since we are using an electric fuel pump I replaced the fuel pump with a polished stand and finned breather
W had the road draft tube powder coated. Looks very close to polished aluminum. Love it. We also did the crank pulley
Carbs are temporarily installed. Waiting on some studs and gaskets
Susi and I cut and run all the plug wires yesterday. We are so close to firing this one off I can taste it. Just a couple more days and we should light it up. Then we can finish installing the fenders and hood and off to upholstery.
