SHOP UPDATE : We built our first seat in the shop

 First step was to cut the seat back from a sheet of plywood and round off the corners.

 Then I raced the shape on the medium density foam

 Then I cut the foam and sanded the corners to shape

 This is the first test fit

 This is the finished foam with a boarder of light density foam

 Hee Susi is removing the cover from the original seat springs

 I am stretching and stapling the cover to the new seat foam

 This is the original seat back

 This is the new seat back

 Here it is, gained 3 inches of leg room. Much more comfortable to drive.

SHOP UPDATE: Re-visiting John's 41 Ford pickup

Well, just thought I would post a few photos of John's 41 Ford we finished up the end of last year. John entered his first show and ended up with the Best of Show and a sponsor award. I think I am as proud as John is. Way to go!
