SHOP UPDATE: I hired a new welder in the shop yesterday !
Say Hi to my wife Susi. She is the new welder in the shop. After a few minutes of instruction she welded up the door jams and learned how to use an angle grinder. Take a look at the finished product. Absolutely perfect. I think we have a winner.

NEW SHOP UPDATE: We are ready to foam and pour the concrete
I AM CERTIFIABLY CRAZY !!!!!
Well its a fact. I am completely nuts!!! I have been working on John's 41 pickup lately. The more I work the more I like the truck. So much, I decided I should go buy one. With that being said, Here is my new 40 pickup. I think it is a very good start to a very cool project. I was also able to score some very nice front fenders for John's 41 and the 36 Ford cab I have been looking for for Jim. Yesterday was a very good day to be car buying.
SHOP UPDATE: Finishing the chop on the 41
Well,
I have finished everything but the splice across the roof. I will start filling the roof in the morning and then move on to the doors. The chop is working out really nice. I love this truck. Oh yeah, I scored some really nice front fenders yesterday. These will really cut down on the body work time.

I started welding the roof back on yesterday. The mismatch is very minimal on this one. I finished both A pillars yesterday. Today I will start the rear of the cab.
