Dick's 40 Tudor chassis

Here it is. Finally  got everything painted in the last couple of days. I will start final assembly of this chassis this weekend and hope to finish it next week. It is nice to finally be doing some finish work. I have 3 more chassis to try to finish in the next month.

Project 40 tudor sedan

Here is one I started yesterday. Its a 1940 Ford Tudor sedan chassis. I have boxed the front of the frame and installed the Heidts independent front cross member. Trimmed some fat from the center of the frame and opened it up for the drive shaft. I replaced the damaged frame supports in the center and installed all the brackets for the parallel leaf springs. I have a couple of repairs to make tomorrow and should set the rear end in temporarily. Then I will drop the Flathead in and build the motor mounts. Once that is finished it will get taken apart and the frame will get painted. I hope to get all the suspension pieces powder coated and I can get this one assembled and shipped back to its owner, I'll keep posting as it gets done.
