Sue spent part of the day in the shop with me today. She did some work on her chopped 37 Ford. She added a bunch of polished stainless front suspension parts and a new set of hairpin radius rods. She also finished assembling the front suspension and brakes and now its a roller again. We still need to change the mounting point at the rear of the hairpin so we can get the alignment on the king pins. It is good to see some progress on this one.
Joe's truck is back in for some new mirrors inside and out and new tempered door glass and new regulators.
I got the front end assembled again so I can fit everything. I am also going to repair all the old cracks and damaged areas on both fenders while everything is bolted in place. I also was able to get the metal work finished on both doors and get them primed ready to guide coat and start the body work. I hope to get the hood in the booth tomorrow and get it primed as well.
Last but not least, I finally put my new rear tires and wheels on the 40. Unfortunately I had to kick it out of the shop to make room for Joe's truck.
