SHOP UPDATE: The Model A check list is getting smaller
Sue and I learned how to install a Model A roof today. What a process. We added some interior color first. Then added some wire screen for support. Then comes the foam padding. Finally the cobra long grain top material. Lots of stretching and tacks. I am really pleased with the finished product.
This is the interior with the matching vinyl in the roof. I love it, it really looks nice.
Headlights...check
Tail lights....check
Registration with vintage plates.......check
Now its time to put about a million miles on it!!!!

SHOP UPDATE: Just some random shop stuff
I scored a really nice 51 Ford flathead for Bill's roadster. It has a Mercury crank, 3/4 race cam, finned aluminum heads and intake with 2 Stromberg 97s. Fresh rebuild, never started. Should be perfect.
This is Shaun's door for four door Dodge power wagon. Someone did some really bad body work on it. The body filler had cracked out and the door was oil canning really bad. I tried to strengthen it but it was to far gone. Next solution, re-skin it. I shaped a new upper skin out of 18 gauge and replaced the damaged skin. It has a nice straight panel and is very rigid. Should take a skim coat of filler and block out for paint.
