We did a little more paint work on Susi's 37 Ford pickup

 I am spraying interior trim for Susi's pickup

 Here are the painted trim pieces. We still have to spray the inside of the doors after we finish the body work

 Nice looking Mustang seats. To bad they are going to get recovered soon.

 I am adding a fuel pressure regulator. The vintage Holley 94 Carbs can't take 6 PSI fuel pressure. I am going to cut it down to 2.5

 I installed the newly painted windshield last night.

The view is way different with the windshield in it from the inside.

SHOP UPDATE: This weekend in the shop

 So, we got Susi's truck running. Turns out we had an issue with the torque converter.

 we dropped the transmission and replaced the converter and all is well.

 I fabricated this bracket for the throttle cable and kick down cables.

 It bolts to the rear of the intake manifold in the 2 threaded bosses.

 It works very well, and used a couple of holes that were wide open.

 This is another of Susi's ideas. It was pretty tight with a steering column, brake pedal and throttle pedal with the tall transmission tunnel. Susi suggested we add a foot rest for your heel and move the pedal up where we have plenty of space.

 So, here it is. We used another brake pedal pad, bolted to a bracket we fabricated. Rest your heel on the pad and mash it to the floor. Works like a champ. It actually looks pretty cool as well.

 I finished welding and repairing the mis-match on the door tops from the chop.

 I did a little artificial patina to blend in the chop.

We fabricated a lid for the battery box and added some patina ish paint.

 I chopped the rear window garnish molding and got it all ground out for primer,

 Finish ground and ready for prime and body work.

 We got all the interior parts ready for paint in the morning.

 Here I am shooting Body Schutz on the bottom of Jim's 36 Ford pickup cab. It should be in for paint this coming week.

 We received a shipment of Dynamat so Susi was able to finish her project.

 We finished the headlights, we retro-fitted some dual filament bulbs so we have park and turn signals.

 Susi did some quick sand blasting so I had plenty of parts to spray before we quit for the day.

Our last project for the weekend, spray all the door guts for 2 projects. All in all we had a hell of a weekend. Hope the next one is as productive.

SHOP UPDATE: Jim's 36 Ford is going into paint.

 I finished fitting all the wood and stainless strips in Jim's bed.

 The stock style filler panel just didn't get the job done.

 So I bent up a new one that filled the gap and closed off the rear of the wood.

 Final product with the newly modified tailgate for that cleaner look.

 Here is the bed all scuffed and ready for its first coat of primer.

 Even though the bed was a new reproduction, that doesn't mean its ready for paint.

 We spent most of our efforts on the four corner posts. The stamping of these is very crude. They all needed a ton of work to be nice and straight.
