SHOP UPDATE: Susi's getting some work done on Bill's roadster

We are starting to mock up the fenders on the roadster. The fit isn't that great but nothing a die grinder and welder can't fix.

I bought some paint and a brush. Gonna try to pull a few lines, hope it works out. I would love to do a little striping.

SHOP UPDATE: John's 31 delivery gets disassembled

Well, this was where we finished up for the day. We will get the rest of the steel off the chassis in a few days and get ready to sand blast everything. This one is going to be a huge project but it will be so cool.

SHOP UPDATE: Building an 80 MPH sun visor

Here is the new 80 MPH sun visor. I found out the hard way, the orginal cloth visor was not designed to go 80. The frame cracked and broke in 2 places and it about ripped the visor right off the truck. Here is the newly skinned steel visor. I will do a little more welding and grinding tomorrow and install it and take it for a test drive.

SHOP UPDATE: Some cool parts showed up at the shop today.

Here are the parts I ordered for the new front half of the frame for the rat rod sedan. I hope to start this project soon so I can spend some evenings working on it.

SHOP UPDATE: And so it begins again

Here is John's 31 deluxe delivery. I started stripping it down a couple of days ago. It is in the shop now. I will be dis assembling it in the evenings this week. I hope to get the panels to sand blast and start the reassemby and fabrication on the body.

SHOP UPDATE: The new heads for the Rat Rod sedan engine arrived

 Here is Susi test fitting the heads on the rat rod engine.

These are aluminum big valve 302 heads from Quantico.

This one should be a pretty bitchin project. We are expecting to start on it sometime this summer.
